As we connect the dots from Soil to Food to People to Communities it becomes much easier to understand why Soil Science is so important. Soil is living and has been living here on this Plant Earth much longer than humans. It’s key that we understand, respect and work with the Soil just like we would ours friends, family and community. Data shows that Earth’s Soil is becoming more and more depleted each year and the entire word is heading towards “Desertification.” If we act now and start building back up our Earth’s soil we have enough time to turn this around before it’s too late.
